Q How can I contact Skillforkids.com?

Q Why do my videos not play immediately?

A The video speed is completely dependent on the strength of your internet connection just like all video content on the net. The better the connection, the faster the videos are downloaded.


Q Why do my videos sometimes stop?

A This is because the download speed is lower than the playing speed. The darkening of the bottom line of the video player is where the video is downloaded too, and the moving triangle is where the video playing is up too. The video will pause/stop if the triangle catches the darkening line.


Q How much does skillforkids.com cost?

A Firstly, there is lots of free information, both in the form of articles and videos that can be accessed. Go to the “what is skillforkids.com” drop down menu. For access to the entire site, it costs $110 per year or $25 per month for individuals. We also have packages available for organisations such as schools, businesses or institutions that give you a number of concurrent logins. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you believe you sit outside those groups to organise a tailored subscription package for your organisation.

Q How do I get started on skillforkids.com?

A Firstly, go to the section that reflects the age of your child or the children you work with. The best place to begin is the start here section which consists of 6 articles that give you lots of background and general information. After you’ve read these, try the essential reading section….. and then you can search the categories and find articles and videos and topics that take your interest.


Q I want to mostly watch the videos to learn, how do I do that?

A There are two ways you can view videos. Firstly, within many of the articles there are multiple videos embedded within the text. This provides you with practical examples as you read. Or you can search the video library which you can always find at the top right of the screen (as you look). Simply enter key words (eg catching) and the relevant age (4-6 years) to find the videos you need.
