As I sit down to write this article I have been watching the Australian Open tennis tournament and what has amazed me is the amount of times I have seen players give up when behind. Even the best athletes in the world can give up when things aren’t going well and for several reasons top athletes may in fact be more vulnerable to giving up than the children you work with. But in this article we will look closely at the reasons your child might give up and how you can be helpful in changing this pattern.
